Современные дизайнеры все чаще используют в оформлении помещений стеклянные ограждения лестниц. Изящная лестница со стеклянным ограждением визуально увеличивает пространство, создавая ощущение легкости и свободы. Особенно интересно и необычно смотрятся лестничные ограждения из стекла в комплексе с прозрачными стеклянными ступенями. Кажущаяся хрупкость таких стеклянных конструкций обманчива: специальная обработка ступеней позволяет выдерживать значительные физические нагрузки.
Прозрачные, почти воздушные ограждения со стеклом становятся украшением интерьера, притягивая взгляды своей оригинальностью, а их универсальность позволяет использовать ступени и ограждения из стекла в самых разных помещениях: в торговых центрах, развлекательных учреждениях, офисах и частных домах. Особенно актуально использование стеклянных ограждений лестниц и балконов для оформления интерьера в таких стилях, как хай-тек или модерн. Часто дизайнеры используют фотографии, нанесенные на стеклянное ограждение балконов и лестниц, которые при умелой подсветке способны полностью преобразить интерьер.
Благодаря тому, что стекло обладает уникальным свойством принимать любую форму при нагреве до +600°С, при этом не теряя прочности и гладкости, стеклянные конструкции дают возможность воплотить самые смелые дизайнерские идеи. Такая технология изготовления ограждений со стеклом для лестниц и балконов позволяет создавать необычайно изящные конструкции, которые становятся предметом гордости хозяев.
Часто в строительстве общественных зданий используются ограждения со стеклом без стоек, изготовленные из многослойного стекла. Повышенная прочность этого материала и его устойчивость к механическим воздействиям позволяет использовать его для остекления окон, витрин, дверей, полов, а также применять многослойное стекло на ограждение лестниц и для отделки фасадов зданий. Надежными стеклянными ограждениями со стеклом без стоек сегодня оборудованы банки, кассы, магазины и многие другие учреждения.
